Submit a request to delete your Cashy account and associated data. We'll verify your identity and respond within 30 days.

Before you request deletion
- Back up your wallet seed phrase if you use the self-custody wallet. We cannot recover it after deletion.
- If you have a Bridge custody balance, withdraw funds first. Deletion may be delayed until settled.
- KYC and transaction records may be retained as required by law, even after your account is deleted.
- Deleting your messaging account can be done inside the app without deleting your full Cashy account.
Cashy account
Your main login, profile, KYC, custody setup, and social content. Request deletion using the form below.
Messaging identity
A separate encrypted chat identity. You can delete this in the app, or include it in a full account deletion request.
Self-custody vs custodial
Self-custody wallet: your seed phrase stays on your device. Deleting your Cashy account does not remove on-chain funds or public blockchain history.
Bridge custody: fiat and USDC custody is regulated. Some data must be retained even after deletion, and you should withdraw balances first.
What we will delete or anonymize
- Firebase login and your Cashy profile
- Username and email reservations
- Social posts, videos, stories, and profile media
- Messaging identity, avatar, and sessions
- Verification video from storage (where legally allowed)
What we may retain
- Identity verification records (KYC/AML) as required by law
- Bridge custodial transaction history and customer records
- Fraud prevention and security investigation records
- Encrypted message ciphertext if the other party's account still exists
What we cannot delete
- Blockchain transactions and public wallet addresses
- Data held by Bridge, Didit, Stripe, Google, or Apple beyond their policies
- Information already on another user's device (e.g. messages they decrypted)
How it works▼
- You submit your request via email.
- We verify that you own the account (we may reply with follow-up questions).
- If you use Bridge custody, we confirm your balance is withdrawn.
- We process your deletion within 30 days and send a confirmation email.
