Terms governing your use of the Cashy mobile app and cashybank.com.

Agreement and eligibility

By downloading, accessing, or using the Cashy mobile application or cashybank.com, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Cashy.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Cashy. You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

Description of services

Cashy provides a mobile application that may include, depending on your region and verification status:

  • Self-custody cryptocurrency wallets where you control your seed phrase and private keys
  • Custodial fiat and stablecoin services powered by Bridge, a regulated third-party partner
  • Decentralized token swaps through third-party partners (Jupiter, LiFi, 0x, SwapKit, Squid, and similar)
  • End-to-end encrypted private messaging
  • Social and creator features (where available)
  • Identity verification (KYC) through Didit for regulated features

Self-custody and custodial services are separate products within the same app. You may use one or both. Availability of features varies by jurisdiction.

Account security and seed phrase

You are solely responsible for safeguarding your seed phrase, private keys, app lock PIN, and device. We do not store your seed phrase or private keys on our servers.

If you lose your seed phrase, we cannot recover your self-custody wallet funds. Back up your seed phrase securely and never share it with anyone — including Cashy support.

You must notify us immediately at support@cashybank.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

KYC and AML compliance

To access regulated custody, fiat deposit/withdrawal, and certain other features, you must complete identity verification through Didit. You agree to provide accurate, complete information and to update it when required.

We and our partners (including Bridge and Didit) may conduct AML screening and may restrict, suspend, or close accounts to comply with applicable law.

You cannot edit KYC or Bridge-related fields directly in the app once submitted.

Prohibited uses

You agree not to use Cashy to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or sanctions program
  • Engage in fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illegal activity
  • Circumvent verification, security, or compliance controls
  • Interfere with or disrupt the app, servers, or networks
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
  • Use the service in jurisdictions where it is prohibited

Fees and third-party services

Cashy may charge fees for certain services. Applicable fees will be disclosed in the app before you confirm a transaction.

Custodial fiat services are provided by Bridge. Swaps are executed through third-party partners. On-ramp payments may be processed by Stripe. Each third party has its own terms and privacy policy.

We are not responsible for third-party service outages, delays, or errors beyond our reasonable control.

No financial or investment advice

Cashy does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Cryptocurrency and digital assets involve significant risk, including total loss of value. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. Consult qualified professionals before making investment decisions.

Intellectual property

The Cashy app, website, branding, and content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer our software except as permitted by law.

You retain ownership of content you upload, but grant us a license to host, display, and distribute it as needed to operate the service.

Limitation of liability and indemnification

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CASHY AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF FUNDS, DATA, OR PROFITS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Cashy is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cashy from claims arising from your violation of these terms, misuse of the service, or violation of applicable law.

Dispute resolution and governing law

Before filing a formal dispute, contact support@cashybank.com and allow us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where our legal entity is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.

Termination

You may stop using Cashy at any time by deleting the app. Back up your seed phrase before uninstalling.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if required by law, or for security or compliance reasons. Custodial account closure is subject to Bridge's processes and applicable regulations.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will post the updated version on cashybank.com and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
